Some nights just hit different... the show Saturday night at The Rink Studios in Sacramento was one of those nights with a sold-out ticket and a crowd that knew every word to every song. From the moment Jeffery Goldford stepped onto the stage, the energy of the space was alive and soulful. I haven't seen a room packed like that in such a long time - what an honor to witness!
One of the most favorite moments? When he split the crowd down the middle to sing “Let the Light In” , I quickly grabbed my cell phone and hit the voice recorder. Yes, I was there to take photos so my phone wasn't top priority but the audio ended up too beautiful not to share. (Check out the audio from this part of the show here) There is something truly special about those moments where collectively the music comes alive through each of our voices singing together at the same time.

To be honest, the sweetest part of the night wasn’t just the music—it was witnessing Goldford connect with the people who showed up for him. After the set, he made time for each and every person who stood in line to meet him, get their posters signed & share stories about why they were there! It is such a beautiful thing when musicians remain in their humanness and to witness the awe as they meet the people whose lives have been touched by the music they shared. It was the sweetest thing when he turned to me and in essence said I SEE YOU and thank you for coming to take photos tonight.

Check the dates for the GOLDFORD shows on The Orange Blossoms Tour fliers below - and if they are coming through your town, make an effort to go. You wont regret it. A beautiful experience to say the least.
And here are a couple of videos from the Sacramento show to tide you over :)
